Candidate screening and selection

Every shortlist is checked against your criteria before it reaches you. Here is what that involves.

Screening protects both the employer and the candidate. An employer who receives well-matched profiles spends less time interviewing; a candidate who understands the job and contract is less likely to leave early.

Our screening stages

  1. Brief

We agree must-have and preferred criteria with you: trade or discipline, years of experience, certificates, language and any destination requirements.

  2. Initial screen

Our recruiters speak to each candidate, check their CV and confirm availability and willingness to relocate.

  3. Document check

Passport validity and type, educational and experience certificates, and trade certificates are reviewed.

  4. Interview

Structured interviews by our team, followed by your interview in person or by video.

  5. Trade test

For skilled roles, a practical test against criteria you approve, with results recorded.

  6. Pre-departure

Medicals, document attestation, emigration clearance where required and a briefing on the job and destination.

Questions

Can we send our own assessors?

Yes. Many employers attend interviews and trade tests in person or by video. We organise the venue, candidates and schedule.

Do you run background or police checks?

Police Clearance Certificates are obtained by candidates through the Government of India's Passport Seva system when an employer or destination requires them. Any additional checks can be agreed with you.
